The Estate
Located in Sarrians , in the heart of Vaucluse, the Domaine de Cabridon benefits from a mosaic of exceptionally rich terroirs. The clay-limestone soils , typical of the Vacqueyras appellations, give the wines a beautiful structure, depth and remarkable aging capacity. Added to this are the clay-silt soils , which give the vintages greater finesse and freshness. This diversity of terroirs allows the Domaine to produce wines with varied profiles, offering a unique taste experience with each tasting.
The vineyard extends over several hectares and cultivates a wide range of grape varieties, carefully selected for their ability to express the best of the terroir:
- Reds and Rosés : Grenache, Syrah, Merlot, Cinsault, Caladoc
- Whites : Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Vermentino
Since the 2023 vintage , the Domaine has been committed to a conversion to organic farming , a choice that reflects a strong desire to respect the environment and produce more authentic wines. This transition to organic is the result of in-depth reflection and a total commitment to sustainable viticulture, where every action is designed to preserve biodiversity and the natural balance of the soils.
Equipment and Know-How
Since the construction of the cellar in 2000 , the Domaine de Cabridon has been able to combine tradition and modernity to optimize each stage of winemaking. The cellar is equipped with concrete vats , ideal for preserving the purity of the fruit, stainless steel vats , which guarantee precise temperature control, and oak barrels , allowing subtle aging that enhances the aromas and complexity of the wines.
The Domaine's expertise is based on meticulous attention to every detail. From the vine to the bottle, nothing is left to chance: pruning, leaf removal, manual harvesting, rigorous selection of grape clusters, everything is orchestrated to reveal the best of each vintage.
